What is an Electronic cigarette and how does it work?

An E-cig is composed of three components; A battery, an atomizer or cartomizer, and an e-liquid that can contain nicotine and flavoring. When the E-cig is activated, the e-liquid is vaporized by the coil of the atomizer or cartomizer, and the vapor is inhaled. It is this vapor that simulates the experience of smoking, but without the combustion of tobacco and therefore there is no smoke.

What is E-liquid?

The e-liquid is a mixture of tobacco flavorings, food flavorings, and a combination of pharmaceutical-grade propylene glycol (PG), and/or vegetable glycerin (VG). It can, but does not have to include nicotine. All e-liquid bottles sold by Delaware Vapor, LLC will display the general contents and nicotine levels contained within the bottle.
